Our quaint 9-room South Carolina B&B features open piazzas, rocking chairs, a joggling board, and plenty of southern hospitality. Share and enjoy our intimate accommodations in a circa 1800 cotton planter's home and brick carriage/kitchen house. Included in your stay is a marvelous sit down breakfast served each morning in our dining room or on the piazza.

We are centrally located in the large historic district of Charleston, SC. It is an easy walk to downtown shopping, antique shops, art galleries, the old market, and Charleston's finest dining. After a day of strolling our moss-draped tree-lined streets, return to the 1837 B&B to be pampered and refreshed with an icy cold glass of iced tea or a freshly brewed pot of hot tea accompanied by our tea time confections.

Our rooms have been lovingly restored with architectural details such as crown molding, wainscoting, ceiling medallions, ornate fireplaces, and high ceilings. Relax in our elegant parlor that features an original Italian black marble fireplace and red cypress wainscoting. All of our beautiful guest rooms are individually decorated in antiques and period reproductions featuring queen canopy rice beds, armoires, local artwork, and oriental rugs. Antique furnishings are complemented by modern conveniences such as cable TV, free wireless Internet service, and refrigerators.
